Do you feel that you would like be more active? Outdoor activity is so good for your physical and mental health and wellbeing. This short course is designed to support you to use the outdoors to become more active.
You will learn about the physiological and mental effects of being active in the outdoors, how to eat well to sustain energy, prevent injury, and evaluate activities for effectiveness and enjoyment. You will explore and experience a range of approaches, so be prepared to take part in activities and exercises in the beautiful parkland of Wentworth Castle Gardens.
What can this course lead to?
Other outdoor courses are available such as Intro to Navigation for Walkers, Intro to Leading Group Walks, Forest Confidence and Forest Skills.
