* This course is fully funded for eligible students.

If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £25.00. If you choose to stay residentially, and you are not eligible via the residential funding assessment, there will be an additional fee to pay. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm when you apply.

Course description

Do you want to know how to manage community projects? This course is an introduction to project management specifically designed for community groups. You will be introduced to what project management is and discover why some projects are successful and some are not. You will also look at the different skills you may need to manage community projects and create an action plan to gain or improve those skills for the future. This course is delivered in an interactive way with tasks, group discussion and using current examples of community projects. It is a great starting point for anyone interested in working in a community role.

Other Exploring courses you could go on are: Exploring Volunteering Or you could progress onto: Level 1 Volunteering Level 1 Award in Investigating Enterprise Level 1 Workers Rights and Exploitation.
