What are the entry requirements?

No formal qualifications are required to apply for this course. However, we do recommend you access one of our introductory or Level 1 courses before you access this course if you don’t already have a level 1 qualification or if you have been out of education for some time.

How much does this cost?

FREE*

* This course is fully funded for eligible students.

If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £225.00. If you choose to stay residentially, and you are not eligible via the residential funding assessment, there will be an additional fee to pay. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm when you apply.

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to work in social care in either local authority or private care environments. It is also suitable for qualified practitioners who have not covered dementia care in previous qualifications.
