What are the entry requirements?

There are no specific requirements to study this course, however, you may find it helpful if you have used a computer, laptop or other kind of mobile device previously.

How much does this cost?

FREE*

* This course is fully funded for eligible students.

If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £17.50. If you choose to stay residentially, and you are not eligible via the residential funding assessment, there will be an additional fee to pay. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm when you apply.

This course will give you a chance to reflect and evaluate on your current digital skills across these five key areas:

Being safe and responsible online and on digital devices
Using digital devices and handling information
Creating and editing
Digital communication

Transacting digitally

You do not need to have any digital knowledge or experience, this course is ideal if you feel you lack the digital skills you need in the modern world and want to start your learning journey.
