Course description

This course will give you the basic knowledge to start your journey into mentoring.

Mentoring your peers in either a voluntary or work situation is different to leading or managing them, although you may take up a number of these roles.

This course will allow you to explore what mentoring is and how it can be used in a positive way. It is an excellent two-day short course that leads onto our Level 1 Award in Peer Mentoring and will give you an insight into whether mentoring is for you.

What can this course lead to?

Other exploring courses you could go on are:

Exploring Volunteering
Exploring Prejudice and Stereotypes.

Or you could progress onto:

Peer Mentoring (Level 1).

Possible courses include Peer Mentor, Mentor, Community worker or Support worker.
