Course description

Using JavaScript code, you will create virtual worlds that you can explore and interact with. You’ll learn the basics of several concepts of 3D graphics and how they can be applied to create an immersive world experienced through a VR headset.

Course content

The course is largely practical, students will complete several hands-on coding tasks that will result in the creation of a virtual world that they can explore.

When does this start and end?

At the moment we have no available dates for this course. We are currently updating our offer for September 2026 so please keep checking back to make an application.

What are the entry requirements?

No formal requirements; students will require a familiarity with writing JavaScript code, ideally by completing the college’s Introduction to Programming course. They will also need to be familiar with using a VR headset, perhaps by completing the college’s What is Virtual Reality course.
