This course provides a basic introduction to some of the processes that are essential to human life. This is particularly useful for those who aspire to study at a higher level in preparation for a career in a health related professions.
What can this course lead to?
This course will introduce you to the subject of Biology and will support you to progress on to further short courses such as ‘The Science of Everyday Life’ or a qualification course such as the ‘Level 2 Diploma in Health Science Profession’s. Our Student Support Services team will work with you to design a personalised learning journey based on your needs and aspirations.

Course fees and funding support
If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £25.00. If you choose to stay residentially, and you are not eligible via the residential funding assessment, there will be an additional fee to pay. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm when you apply.
