This is a blended learning course, which combines online and on campus study. This gives you the best of both worlds, so you can combine the benefits of flexible online learning with an adult education classroom experience. This gives you the opportunity to meet and work alongside like-minded and supportive peers.

This course is for ten weeks. You will spend two days in college (offered on a residential basis) twice. This is near the start and end of the course. You will be supported by a specialist tutor online and over the phone during independent study, and can also connect with fellow adult students online.

What can this course lead to?

The qualification can be used to support the underpinning knowledge and understanding needed for those working in or towards a learner support role.
