Course description

This course will look at mentoring as part of the education process.  

You will assess your own mentoring skills and create a development plan either as part of your current role or in a role play scenario.  

The course will explore: 

  • The role of a mentor   
  • Preparing to become a mentor. 
  • SMART targets 
  • Communication skills 
  • Legal and ethical requirements 
  • Mentoring skills and techniques. 

This course can be accessed by anyone who is in or wants to hold a mentoring role in education.

If you are not eligible, there will be a cost of £150.00 plus an additional fee if you choose to stay over. The vast majority of students are eligible to study for free and we will confirm when you apply.
