No formal qualifications are required to study this course. A willingness to learn is essential.

How much does this cost?

FREE*

* This course is fully funded for eligible students.

If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £25.00. If you choose to stay residentially, and you are not eligible via the residential funding assessment, there will be an additional fee to pay. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm when you apply.

Come and learn about all different social media platforms, what they can be used for and why they have become so popular, including:

Facebook
Instagram
Twitter
Snapchat
WhatsApp
And more…

You will also explore some of the issues with social media and can learn about some of the tools you and others can use to protect yourself and your privacy.

If you feel like you have been left behind or would just like to know more about social media- this is the course for you!

This course will support you to progress onto further short courses with us. Our Student Support Services team will work with you to design a personalised learning journey based on your needs and aspirations.
