No formal qualifications are required to study this course. A willingness to learn is essential.

How much does this cost?

* This course is fully funded for eligible students.

If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £25.00. If you choose to stay residentially, and you are not eligible via the residential funding assessment, there will be an additional fee to pay. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm when you apply.

Course description

This is a course to introduce and explore volunteering. You will explore where you can volunteer and the skills required to become a successful volunteer. You will also learn how to apply for volunteering, and the impact volunteering can have on your own development and your community. The course is delivered using practical activities and you will be able to create an action plan for your next steps, whether that be further courses or getting a volunteer role.

Other exploring courses you could go on are: Exploring Practical Team Skills Exploring Prejudice and Stereotypes Or you could progress onto: Volunteering (Level 1) Investigating Enterprise (Level 1) Workers Rights and Exploitation (Level 1).
