New courses for adults starting January 2022: still taking applications

December 15, 2021

Northern College has launched new courses designed for anyone aged 19 and over returning to education to change their lives, starting in January 2022. We are taking applications throughout January.

Learn with like-minded adults in the beautiful, tranquil settings of Northern College, South Yorkshire. We also have a discounted bus service costing £1 for students bringing you from Barnsley Interchange right into our campus front door, starting 10th January 2022. The college also offers free parking and is close to motorway networks.

Our courses can help you into a range of careers with introductory courses up to level 3 and beyond including:

We are also taking applications throughout January for our access to university programme.

We also have courses in Functional and GCSE maths and English, Digital skills and Career Transition Days on offer to underpin progression into further study and employment.

You could join our many students who choose to study residentially on campus at Northern College to focus on their studies. This means they also benefit from enhanced wrap-around support, and time spent with like-minded peers and specialist tutors to progress their goals.

You can also opt to study one of our new blended learning courses. These give you the benefit of flexible online study with tutor support, alongside two residential weekends to connect with fellow students.
