Looking for a career in Policing but don’t have the qualifications?

If you’re thinking of a career in Policing but don’t have the qualifications to get you to university then Northern College can help.

Our new level 3 Access to Higher Education in Policing and Criminology runs from January to July 2021 and will give you a level 3 qualification so that you can progress onto a degree course and eventually a career in Policing.

This course has been designed for anyone who is looking to change their career and has an interest in the Police, Law and Criminology, Probation and Prison Service fields, Youth Justice, Victim Support, Criminal Justice or other related Psychology and Social Policy.

The college offers the unique experience of studying as a residential student which is great preparation for moving onto university. This gives you the opportunity to study alongside like-minded adults who support each other on their learning journey.

The college is rated outstanding by Ofsted, has excellent achievement rates and student feedback. This includes a 100% pass rate for our Access to Higher Education programme (2018-19) and GCSE grades 22% above the national average (2019-20).

‘Nothing can beat the experience and support I received at Northern College.  Everything was amazing and I have a qualification because of the support and encouragement from this place!’ – former student
