Northern College remains open during new national restriction period

As you will be aware, COVID-19 national restrictions are coming into place from the 5th November 2020 to the 2nd of December 2020. Northern College is in regular contact with its students to support them through this transition, and the college remains open.

Government guidelines mean that further education should continue. This aligns with Northern College’s commitment to continue to support its students to achieve and progress.

We are a COVID-secure campus. This means that we comply with all government guidance on managing the risks of COVID-19. This includes hand sanitiser stations on arrival, social distancing measures and clearly-signed one-way systems.

In line with the guidance we have continued to assess our delivery model. We have a full range of carefully planned methods in place to adapt and manage our teaching and learning so that all new and prospective students can continue their studies. This includes delivering blended learning (mixture of online and face-to-face teaching) as well as solely online or on campus as appropriate.

We will continue to closely monitor the government guidelines. Should any changes need to be made, we will keep you as informed as possible through our website and social media channels.
