Students held a stall selling buns and tiffin in aid of Dementia UK’s ‘Time for a Cuppa’ fundraising campaign and raised the fantastic amount of £89.78. The students had made and decorated the buns and tiffin during Student Activity Sessions under the watchful eye of the Coordinator, Claire.
‘Time for a Cuppa’ runs from 1st-8th March every year to raise funds for Admiral Nurses who care for people suffering with different forms of Dementia. There are over 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK and this is set to rise to over one million by 2021, so it really is a cause worth supporting!
Well done to everyone who was involved.
