Ready to Work Course Supports Dylan’s Progression

Northern College is proud to celebrate the success of former learner Dylan, who has taken a huge step towards his future after completing our Ready to Work course.

Dylan was referred to Northern College by Berneslai Homes, where he had been working with their Ambition Team. 

After enrolling on Northern College’s Ready to Work course, Dylan began rebuilding his confidence and developing key skills to prepare him for employment. 

With support from his tutor Paul and his coach Lisa at Berneslai Homes, Dylan successfully completed the course and has since progressed onto a Bricklaying course at Rotherham College.

Reflecting on his journey, Dylan shared:

“Before I met Lisa, I was a very nervous person and wouldn’t go out a lot. She helped me find courses suitable for me, that helped bring me out of my shell.”
