The Level 2 Psychology Certificate is designed for those who want to develop your knowledge of psychology and gain a nationally recognised qualification.
It provides an introduction to key psychological concepts, theories and studies, while helping You develop the skills needed for further study. Throughout the course, You will explore a range of topics from developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology and individual differences. You will examine how psychological concepts are applied to understand behaviour and consider the strengths and limitations of different psychological theories and studies.
The course covers two mandatory units:
- Definition and Illustration of Psychological Concepts
- Application of Psychological Concepts

Upon completion, you could progress onto a further course, including:
- The Certificate is intended to offer progression to higher level study in Psychology and also to a range of other Social Sciences, Humanities and Care courses.
