Course description
We are so fortunate here at Northern College to be able to take inspiration from our stunning grounds and surroundings. On this course we will make full use of this, selecting whatever it is here that captures our imagination, as a prompt for creative writing.
On this course we will work independently and in groups to focus upon:
What is creative writing? What are the benefits of creative writing? Creating our own responses in class and in the grounds (weather permitting) Reflecting upon the strengths of our writing
What can this course lead to?

Upon completion, you could progress onto a further course, including:
- English Functional Skills
