This course is designed for beginners with little to no prior experience in creating webpages and it provides a hands-on introduction to building and linking webpages. You will add text, images, and even video to your website, while learning about how the Internet works and gaining an insight into the world of web design.

The course is hands-on; students use HTML and CSS code to build their websites.
This course is a relaxed introduction to creating webpages, but it is also a great starting point for the college’s Computer Programming Pathway.
There are no formal requirements and no prior knowledge of creating webpages is required. However, students will be required to have completed the Next Steps in Computers course, or already have digital skills equivalent to those listed in that course’s description.
This course is fully funded for eligible students
If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £72.00. There is no option to pay to stay residentially if you do not meet the criteria for residential funding. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm as part of the application process.
