An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the college’s Finance team.  In this new role you will be responsible for processing the college’s monthly payroll, ensuring statutory obligations are met, and payroll is completed to deadline.  Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will have a sound understanding of accounting principles and be responsible for co-ordinating credit control.  You will be committed to providing excellent customer service and delivering an outstanding student experience for student enquiries received over the phone and at the counter.  Experience of running payroll including knowledge of PAYE, and statutory payments is essential.  Attention to detail will be a key strength as well as the ability to prioritise your work to ensure deadlines are met.  You will be proficient in the use of finance and payroll software and have the ability to analyse and interpret a range of financial data.  You will be CCAB part qualified or have an equivalent payroll qualification.  You will be enthusiastic, flexible and be able to work constructively with others to achieve positive outcomes.
