Welcome to the library, a beautiful space to study. You will find our library on the second floor of the main house at Wentworth Castle.
The library is always staffed during opening hours and can help you find the resources you need to succeed in your studies. We offer a range of curriculum related resources, including text and e-books, online and subscription journals, and additional learning resources. We also offer the use of computers, printers, scanners, a study area for you to work in with charging points and a swap shop donations bookshelf.
Our library staff are here to help with all aspects of your studies, including finding resources, academic skills, IT support, borrowing equipment, learning to proofread, learning to reference.
Our library is a beautiful place to study, and we are here to support all our students.
Registered students are also welcome to book virtual library sessions with our library staff. We look forward to supporting you and wish you all the very best with your studies.
On a 5 day week we will open:
Closed for lunch from 12.30pm – 1.00pm every day.
On a 7 day week we will open:
A 7 day week is when we also open over the weekend. This will occur once a month, on the following weekends: 16th – 17th September, 14th – 15th October, 18th – 19th November, 9th – 10th December, 27th – 28th January, 24th – 25th February, 23rd – 24th March, 20th – 21st April, 18th – 19th May, 22nd – 23rd June, 20th – 21st July.
Closed for lunch every day from 12.30pm – 1.00pm.
Registered students who need support are welcome to come into the library to see our library staff. Virtual library sessions can also be requested if meeting remotely is preferred.
