Moving to a new country can pose many challenges, among them being the language barrier. Learning a new language is undeniably tough, but it’s a crucial step to increase your chances of securing employment and forging new friendships within your new community.
We offer several ESOL courses for people whose first language is not English, from those who are total beginners to others who may be a bit more advanced with their English.

Northern college is a wonderful place. Studied various courses to progress and plan to achieve a Diploma in Humanities and Social Science. Thanks to all the tutors and staff. The only way is up.
All staff are amazing always, and willing to help with anything you need. I’m still doing English and Maths but no longer struggle in any of the subjects. All this because of the tutors' support and the good friends I made here. Thank you so much.
