Course description

The exploring volunteering course is designed to provide insight into how volunteering has a positive effect on people and communities.  On the course you will investigate the benefits of volunteering, how you can get involved and the best ways to promote your skills to a chosen voluntary group.

Course content

On the course you will identify your current knowledge of volunteering, develop an understanding of the voluntary and community sector, explore how volunteering impacts this sector and how to best develop and promote your volunteering skills.

What can this course lead to?

The could lead you on to the Volunteering Level 1 course.

Useful information

The course is unaccredited. However, you will develop educational based skills and essential skills (English, maths, digital) that will help you in the volunteering and employment sector.

When does this start and end?

At the moment we have no available dates for this course. We will be updating them throughout the year, check back or submit and enquiry to be added to a waiting list.

What are the entry requirements?

No formal qualifications are required to study this course. A willingness to learn is essential.

Great tutors and services. They will listen to you if you have any issues or questions, and will do their best to help you. It’s a relaxing atmosphere and stunning views of Wentworth castle. Love this place.
