Course description

It’s science, but it’s also a little bit of magic. Join us on this short maths course where you will learn about how plants grow and develop. You will learn about cloning plants and photosynthesis, as well as the kind of maths that nature presents us with. If you are interested in Horticulture and want to develop your maths skills at the same time, this is the course for you.

What you will learn: 

  • Biology of growing – germination, photosynthesis, feeding  
  • Cloning plants  
  • Growing herbs and vegetables 
  • Nature’s numbers 

What can this course lead to?

Functional Skills qualifications in English or Maths

Level 1 Award in Practical Horticulture Skills
