Course description

This hands-on course is tailored for beginners who are curious about apps, their uses, and want to try their hand at creating a simple app using a user-friendly drag-and-drop editor.

Course content

The course will teach you how to build an app.

What can this course lead to?

Once this and the college’s Creating Webpages course are completed, you will be ready to join the Intro to Computer Programming course.

Useful information

All work is completed on the college computers. The software, Jotform, is available for free on the Internet. It would be useful if students were to setup a Jotform account prior to joining the course (www.jotform.com).

What are the entry requirements?

Students would be expected to have basic digital skills, such as using files and folders, opening and using applications, and be comfortable using Microsoft Windows.
