No formal qualifications are required to study this course. A willingness to learn is essential.

How much does this cost?

FREE*

* This course is fully funded for eligible students.

If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £75.00. If you choose to stay residentially, and you are not eligible via the residential funding assessment, there will be an additional fee to pay. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm when you apply.

Course description

Are you new to the UK and want to find out something about your new environment? On this 4-day course you will learn some basic geography and history of the UK. You will also learn about British Values, how the Government and Monarchy function, and start to understand some cultural aspects of citizenship. This informative course will provide a general but useful overview to Living in the UK.
