Course description

Explore how one family used their wealth and power to influence the local, national and international stage and how the influence of people continents away had an impact on this area. This course will consider a timeline of key dates and events in the history of Wentworth Castle and provide an insight into the links between its past and present, whilst helping you to develop your research, presentation and language skills.

What you will develop skills in:

Formal/informal language
Develop Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar – common misspellings, homophones (there, their, they’re)
Sharing a presentation
Use of timelines

What are the entry requirements?

No formal qualifications are required to study this course. A willingness to learn is essential.

Most jobs require you to have Level 2 in English and Maths. These qualifications are important in jobs that are most employable in the South and West Yorkshire Regions such as Education and Health and Social Care sector.
