Course description

Are you fascinated by history? Do you want to know more about how local people from our past impacted on people continents away? This short English course will help you to improve your research, presentation and language skills whilst learning about the links between past and present at Wentworth Castle.  

What you will develop skills in: 

  • Research local history – Wentworth Castle  
  • Develop Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar – homophones, common misspellings  
  • Formal / informal language  
  • Producing a presentation
