Course description

Are some people born bad, or is this something they learn? Can thinking positively make us well? What does having a ‘big ego’ really mean? This course tries to answer these questions, and many others, introducing us to some of the bigger questions about human psychology. You will exploresome early and current theories of what makes us tick, alongside some forms of social behaviour which have the potential to prevent us from ticking if they are not addressed.

What can this course lead to?

This course will introduce you to the subject of Psychology and will support you to progress onto further short courses such as ‘A Child’s World – An Introduction to the Psychology of the Child ‘. Our Student Support Services team will work with you to design a personalised learning journey based on your needs and aspirations.
