What is Introduction?

This is an introductory level course for beginners and requires no formal qualifications to apply.

This course will pull together a range of skills learned on previous courses to build an interactive web application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Learn how to build websites and apps that work on a variety of screen sizes and understand some of the main technologies that make the web work.

Course content

This course is broad ranging, and you will cover a lot of topics; most of the content is hands-on, where you will be writing code, but there is some research and planning work involved too.

What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal requirements, but students will be required to have some familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as with using Visual Studio Code and GitHub. All of these skills can be learned in the college’s Introduction to Creating Webpages, Creating More Webpages, and Introducing Computer Programming courses.
