Course content

We will cover various aspects of volunteering including the following areas: 

Looking at the skills needed to become a volunteer, assessing the skills needed and those you already have. 

We will discuss the benefits of volunteering for the companies themselves and community as a whole. 

We will have group activities, including research, group activities. 

We will also have time on this course to skill scan and work on individual needs. If people need to build confidence, we can adapt lessons facilitate this.  

This flexible course can adapt to the needs of you as the student. We can cover any area of your skill set that will help you into volunteering. 

What can this course lead to?

This course will lead you into many things, this will depend on what it is you wish to gain. You can progress onto the next level of this qualification, or you can make that transition into employment by using your skills to attain a job volunteering. This is something that the college will be able to support you with as we are here to support your whole journey.
