This is an introductory level course for beginners and requires no formal qualifications to apply.
Find out about progression
Building on your experience on the Introduction to Creating Webpages course, you will further develop your website. Making it respond to different screen sizes (such as a mobile phone), adding more interaction, and creating animations. You will also use GitHub pages to get your website online.

The course is hands-on; students use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to further develop their website.
Alongside the Introducing Computer Programming course, this course leads into the college’s Computer Programming & Web Design course.
There are no formal requirements, but students will be expected to have completed the Introduction to Creating Webpages course as well as the Next Steps with Computers course (or already have digital skills equivalent to those listed in that course’s description).
This course is fully funded for eligible students
If you are not eligible, the cost of the course is £144.00. There is no option to pay to stay residentially if you do not meet the criteria for residential funding. The vast majority of students are eligible to study and stay residentially for free and we will confirm as part of the application process.
